Jail Isn't All That Bad, a Daily Affirmation

I've been...uh...how shall I say this... I've been kept against my will for things that I didn't do but that the state thinks I did. I learned a valuable lesson in the Eugene, Oregon jailhouse; Jail isn't all that bad. So, for all you folks in jail, or about to go to jail, or just want to reminisce about your time in jail, here's a poem for you:

Jail

It's not so bad--->

<---you have plenty of time

to read
to think
to plot
to eat
to smoke
to intimate your innermost feelings
to your affectionate cellmate(s).

Yes, jail provides you with comfort;

while your tomatoe juice
and
a really comfortable sweater
are back in your "studio"
apartment,

Jail provides many

many

many

other

adventures.

p.s.

soap
on a
rope

does
not
help
you

against
a
determined

man.

My lawyer advises me not to talk about how ridiculous the restraining order is against me on my blog. So no, I can't tell you what I did.
